Secret Santa is a project which was part of our Christmas experience for several years. Bank of Georgia decided to make a platform where the whole country would play the Secret Santa game during the Christmas period. There was a website where you would register and get matched with a random stranger to exchange Christmas gifts.
As you would imagine, this kind of project would need a very active marketing campaign to get the word across and create an atmosphere, so that’s where we joined forces with JWT Metro and Redberry to create an unforgettable experience for Christmas lovers.
Christmas is a “one-of-a-kind” event that holds a special place in the hearts of almost everyone around us. The magical feeling and childish excitement that follows us to our adulthood. In this video, we follow a kid living high up in the mountains, dreaming of the day when he can travel and explore the galaxy and the vast vacuum of space and a small Christmas miracle, which will be the reason for his colorful and intriguing journey. The challenge with this project was, bringing a score that would fit the dynamic feel of this emotional and visual rollercoaster of an adventure, which is being told in only a handful of minutes.
With new year’s eve around the corner, It was time for the yearly Project of Secret Santa to find its footing for the holidays. So in 2019, JWT Metro decided to show us a different side to this event. They visualized what it feels like to give presents on Christmas Eve, to take on the role of Santa Claus himself, and turned it up to eleven. Using the famous Georgian Christmas song – “Snowfall from the white sky,” Postred and JWT metro established an emotional connection with the people right from the start. The Sound design didn’t disappoint either by giving the project the feel of chilly snowflakes and the warmth and excitement of Christmas and seamlessly merging them.
2017 was around the corner, and it was time for the second round of Secret Santa. This year would be different with a sub-project called “Secret Santa Workshop.” This meant that any Georgian company could sign up and provide presents that other “Secret Santas” could buy and send. Postred contributed with Sound Design, which created a warm “homey” feeling.
“Don’t Stop!” – this became one of the main slogans of the year 2019. Bank of Georgia had a new initiation that was calling people for action, movement, to search for novelty and development, and what’s most important, to do what they wanted, with the main idea – Don’t Stop!
This beautiful and motivational video was done by our friends at JWT Metro and they trusted us to make sound and music for it. This was one of the first times when we took an old Georgian song, known for everyone from a different setting and transforming it to something totally new, genre-wise, as well as, emotion-wise
By such an approach we got closer to the old generation with a very well known song for them and also appealed the new generation with a genre that was more acceptable for them. This track definitely was and still is a big hit in Georgia!
ORIGINAL SONG:
This very emotional campaign video is a reminder for everyone that in each of us lives an inner child who pushes us towards creativity and playfulness and the boundaries are created by adults. We took a very famous song by Oasis and gave it totally new life that everyone took close to their hearts. Enjoy!
Independence Day for Georgians is one of the most praiseworthy day, so for us it was pretty challenging to create something so emotional that it would touch older and newer generation equally. We took a very well known Georgian song by Iasha Bobokhidze called “Aspen Leaves” and turned it into this. The voice over recorded in 1918 by Noe Jordania, the First Chairman of the Government, makes this video even more intense, impassioned and excitable.
