WE ARE REALLY INTO COMPOSING!

You cannot really say much about what good composing means. We use all the tools and creativity to make every moving picture shine and enrich storytelling with music. It gets special treatment in our company, as one of the co-founders of the company is a lead composer. We do not try to be another clone of you-know-who famous composer, as we take pride in the uniqueness of our content.

WE CREATE OUR OWN INSTRUMENTS

GANI is a musical instrument built by our lab. We wanted to create something that has never existed before, something unique with sound and shape. The result gave us an astonishing combination of Georgian ethnical sounding instrument and very familiar-sounding of a cello.

LISTEN TO IT!

…AND SAMPLE LIBRARIES

Our team crafts custom made sample libraries and presets them for our in-house use. This gives us the possibility to create sounds and tools which cannot be repeated. We are looking forward to introducing some of our products to the public in the future.

SALT The sound of this instrument is really pure and dynamic, its main strength is its flexibility to work in any context – it makes our music breathe. We call it Salt, because we recorded this library specially for the soundtrack of “Salt from Bonneville” by Simon Mozgovyi. COMING SOON We’ve built an expanding collection of sampled drums, which we enlarge with every new project. In every new volume of this library we enrich it with exotic percussion and samples we find interesting. COMING SOON Postred DRUMS

MEET ZVIAD

Zviad Mgebry has been a real gem for Postred. His amazing way of approaching the directors and creating music for them is always a beautiful journey, as he tried to get in their heads and create exactly what the directors have in mind. And also he always leaves room for his imagination. His skills of multi-instrumentalism always give him a wide range of possibilities to create music for every genre you can imagine of. Zviad always makes it sure that whenever Georgian folk instruments are used for the movie, they always have that intriguing part in the music that is unknown yet undoubtedly attractive. Zviad has already worked on widely recognized films such as “And Then We Danced…” by Levan Akin and “Shindisi” by Dito Tsintsade.

MEET LUKA

Luka’s main interest is to create interactive music. He makes film scoring look fun as well, as he is obsessed with using different technologies in the process. We cannot agree more that he is the studio’s technical mind. Luka’s other passion is to create sample libraries and the synthesizer is his best friend. He actively uses Georgian intonations and harmonies, but more in an orchestral context. Well, Luka’s definitely a good orchestrator. He is an alumnus of Berklee Valencia (Berklee College of Music) where he received a MA degree in Scoring for Films, Television, and Video Games.

Giorgi Tavartkiladze

“At the moment I had finished one of my short films, I had no idea there was a guy developing a company in Georgia, which could offer me a world-class sound and original composing for my film. In this period in Georgia, there was very popular to say – I am taking my film in Prague, Munich, or in Istanbul for audio post-production. The reason was that we all knew, it was impossible to make good sound post-production in Georgia. It was in Hong Kong, in 2019, when I said to myself – I am so lucky, that I met Beso Kacharava and his companion, composer Zviad Mgebry. It was a 49th Hong Kong International Film Festival, where our short war drama “BAD PEOPLE”, was a part of the festival. As the venue technically had a perfect quality of the sound projection, it was my first time to hear what kind of invaluable job had done Postred to me and my film. And I felt so proud when I realized this was a 100% Georgian product. Sound and original soundtrack by Postred. That’s why I always have a strong desire since then to say Postred, thank you so much, my friend!”
